Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Kyla Bear is from a hockey family with both her brothers having appeared on previous seasons of Hit The Ice. Nonetheless, Kyla and her sister Jordyn earned the right to represent the team with their skill, perseverance and attitude. Kyla has stood out throughout camp for her consistency, she simply doesn’t have a bad game and can be counted on in all situations. Whether it may be on the powerplay, penalty kill or even strength, she’ll be reliable.
