The Players
Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.
Mya Headrick #53
Position: Forward
Province / Territory: Ontario
Height: 5'7
Date of birth: November 29th, 2004
Mya Headrick is also one of the youngest players on the team. Selected as one of two players born in 2004, her skill set is developed enough for her to fit right in. She has a tall frame with good skating ability and can battle easily with players two years her senior. Her game isn’t sugar coated, she’s and east-west player and needs to play that way to be effective.
