The Players
Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.
Hunter Halcrow #82
Position: Defence
Age: 16
Province / Territory: Manitoba
Height: 5'7
Date of birth: October 11th 2000
The youngest player in this year’s camp is 15 year-old defenseman Hunter Halcrow, a raw talent whose past coaches agree shows great promise as an athlete. At the Midget AAA level, Halcrow showed that his small size did not prevent him from competing with skill and intelligence on the ice. He might be Hit The Ice best prospect.
